Friday evening, around 9:30, I was on the deck star gazing, Cali was surfing the web and Andie was watching a video of The Big Comfy Couch. Unsuspectingly, a large truck pulled up and somebody got out and rang the doorbell. I figured it was the neighbor. Wrong. It was the Brozseks, our good friends from Los Angeles. They were on their way home from a vacation up north, near the beach, and decided to pop in. They ended up staying the weekend with us. It was a wonderful surprise to see all of them and for two days. Pictured above from left to right are Bela, the modest little Bela, Bettina, the newest addition Lili, and playing dress up, older sisters Leda, and Margo. I met Bela my second day in LA at work, five years ago next month. Wow! Time flies. At least it's going by with good friends. Thanks for stopping by.
Thoughts
from the prisoner within
Pain in the neck. Well, it's still straining, at times. Especially this weekend, trying to turn my head to see everything going on. But what's really on my mind is my new power wheelchair. Besides being 2 months late, all the features like moving, reclining, even change the tv, are all controlable by my chin. So, my long awaited semi-independance will surely have it's drawbacks. Once again, thanks for listening to my Thoughts.
